Landlord Advice
DO:
arrange to have your post redirected by the Post Office when you move out. Although most tenants will do their best to help, they have no responsibility to redirect your mail.
leave instructions and manuals for appliances handy, eg for washing machines, central heating, lawn mowers, etc. These can be very useful.
leave helpful notes advising when rubbish is collected and where milk and paper deliveries can be obtained
remember to set up service and maintenance agreements wherever you can
remember your property will be your tenants home for a minimum of six months. Try to make this as pleasant for them as you can.
DON'T:
leave any items of sentimental value in your property. Accidents can happen with the most caring of tenants. Valuables can be locked in storage areas where the tenant has no access and we hold the keys for you.
forget to tell us about any service and maintenance agreements you have set up so we can use them when needed.
